§ Mr. Atkins[holding answer 25 April 1995]: I refer the hon. Member to my written reply on 14 March 1995, Official Report, columns 536–38, detailing the SO2, NOx, and particulate emissions from power stations in England and Wales for 1991, 1992 and 1993.
For the remaining large combustion plants, at present Her Majesty's inspectorate of pollution holds validated data only for 1992 and 1993. Data for the preceding years is not held in the form requested.
HMIP is responsible for large combustion plant within England and Wales only.
