§ Mr. HeseltineThe agreement between British Nuclear Fuels plc and Nuclear Electric plc is a commercial matter for the companies involved. Subject to meeting the appropriate regulatory requirements, BNFL is responsible for waste management strategy at Sellafield as operators of the site. I understand from the company that the agreement has no implications for this strategy. Ministers and officials meet representatives from the two companies from time to time to discuss a range of issues.
