How many (a) negative and (b) affirmative statutory instruments were laid before Parliament in:

  1. (i) the first three months of 1995;
  2. (ii) each of the last five years;
  3. (iii) 1985;
  4. (iv) 1980;

What proportion of the statutory instruments laid before Parliament in:

  1. (i) the first three months of 1995;
  2. (ii) each of the last five years;
  3. (iii) 1985;
  4. (iv) 1980;
were instruments which translated European Communities legislation into United Kingdom law; and

How many of the negative statutory instruments laid before Parliament in:

  1. (i) the first three months of 1995;
  2. (ii) each of the last five years;
  3. (iii) 1985;
  4. (iv) 1980;
were
  1. (a) passed without debate;
  2. (b) debated;
    3. WA 51
  3. (c) prayed against;
  4. (d) set aside;
and what proportion of each of these categories (a) to (c) were of European origin.
