To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what review process was adopted in regard to the official history commissioned from Humphrey Wynn on the RAF strategic nuclear deterrent forces, published by HMSO. [17519]

Humphrey Wynn's official history on the RAF strategic nuclear deterrent forces was reviewed in accordance with the initiatives set out in paragraph 9.28 of the White Paper on Open Government, Cmd 2290, and released under the provisions of section 5(1) of the Public Records Acts 1958 and 1967.
