To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list(a) the number of new directors each year that have joined the board of directors and (b) the percentage annual turnover of directors in respect of each training and enterprise council in England and Wales since their creation. [17052]

I am unable to give the information that the hon. Member is asking for as it is not collected in that form. However, the total turnover for board members for training and enterprise councils in England and Wales is shown in the following list:

  • March 1992 to February 1993: 20 per cent.
  • March 1993 to February 1994: 25 per cent.
  • March 1994 to February 1995: 19 per cent.
