Mr. Bennett

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the number of appeals under paragraph 4 of schedule 14 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 determined in 1992 and 1993 for which the time taken from receipt of the appeal by his Department to its determination was(a) not more than six months, (b) more than six months but not more than 12 months, (c) more than 12 months but not more than 18 months, (d) more than 18 months but not more than 24 months or (e) more than 24 months.

Eleven appeals have been determined during the period. Details are as follows:

  • More than six months but not more than 12 months–2.
  • More than 12 months but not more than 18 months–6.
  • Morse than 18 months but not more than 24 months–3.
