§ Mr. NorrisIn the past three years, there have been seven incidents of garbage dumping at sea reported to my Department's Marine Pollution Control Unit. Of these, two were referred for prosecution action. One case was found not guilty and the other is on-going. Further cases may have been brought by other authorities but records are not held centrally.
