The number of subject access requests received by the Department, in the year to 30 September 1994, was 79.72W
Applicants are not required to give their reasons for disclosure so it is not possible to estimate the percentage of requests which were enforced subject access requests.
It is the Employment Department's policy to answer all subject access requests in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984.
