To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a Statement on the international response to the crisis in Rwanda and Zaire following the emergency session of the UN Security Council.

§ Mr. Baldry
Since the start of the crisis, the international community has committed nearly £382 million of humanitarian assistance for Rwandan displaced persons and refugees in neighbouring countries. This includes £60 million committed by the British Government.
