The Minister for Railways and Roads, Mr. John Watts, has asked me to write to you in reply to your Parliamentary Question about the estimated time before the brushed concrete surface between Junctions 8 and 10 of the M25 is in need of major maintenance or of replacement.The existing concrete surface is in good condition. We do not expect it to require resurfacing for at least 10 years or strengthening for at least 20 years.
