§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonIn April 1992, the Secretary of State introduced the indicative prescribing scheme, which allows for incentive prescribing schemes to operate at health board level. To date there have been no successful applications to set up incentive prescribing schemes in Scotland under the terms of the indicative prescribing scheme.
