§ Mr. AtkinsThe main environmental directives still to be legally transposed in the United Kingdom are the nitrates directive, the urban waste water treatment directive and the habitats directive. The House of Commons has approved the regulations needed to transpose the habitats directive and these are being considered by the other place today. Regulations to implement the urban waste water treatment directive are being drafted and work to implement the nitrates directive is in hand.
