To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will consider extending the amendment of the definition of residential occupier in terms of section 22(5) of the Rent (Scotland) Act 1984, in relation to any premises to a person occupying such premises and willing to make payment of a rental in respect thereof who has been denied security of tenure by his or her landlord for the express object of eviction.

There are no plans at present to change the definition of residential occupier.
