§ Mr. MaloneThe term "health commissioning agency" has no statutory basis. Details of joint working between district and family health services authorities are determined by local circumstance. By the beginning of October 1994, there were 55 appointments of joint chief executive. There were a further seven sets of joint management arrangements, without a joint chief executive. A list of authorities concerned will be placed in the Library. Information has not been collected centrally about when the arrangements came into being.
