(2) how many people over 60 years in the United Kingdom were recorded for each of the last 10 years as suffering from senile dementia.
§ Mr. BowisIt is estimated that some 5 per cent. of the population aged 65 and over suffer from dementia. Of these it is estimated that over half suffer from Alzheimer's disease. There is no evidence to suggest that the incidence318W of Alzheimer's disease has changed significantly over the last 10 years.
