The Department has consulted on draft regulations, a draft revision to Food Safety Act Code of Practice No. 9 on food hygiene inspections, and a draft compliance cost assessment. The latter estimates costs arising from the requirement for food hygiene training, taking account of the fact that most food businesses already meet the requirement.
