To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) whether the members of the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee are required to declare their commercial and non-commercial interests;

(2) if he will publish the commercial and non-commercial interests of the members of the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee.

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his answer of 17 May,Official Report, column 446, for what reason members of the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee are not required to provide details of consultancies held; and how this practice differs from that applied to other advisory committees for which he is responsible.
