§ Mr. Charles WardleThe Government have no plans to make the distinction suggested. However, changes which are being introduced to the statistical system will make it possible to distinguish, from 1995 onwards, between dogs and cats which have been bred at or obtained from a designated breeding establishment, and those which have been obtained from other sources.
