§ Mr. KeyVarious stages of the Weston-super-Mare primary distributor road between the M5—junction 21—and the town centre have been supported with transport supplementary grant. This scheme meets the criteria for acceptance of expenditure on TSG, being an improvement to the primary route network which relieves a residential area from the effects of through traffic. It was given a high priority by Avon county council, the local highway authority responsible for all aspects of its planning and design.
