§ Mr. David HuntIn 1992 the United Kingdom lost 0.5 million days to labour disputes, one third of the former west Germany total of 1.5 million. In 1979 the United Kingdom lost 29.5 million days, over 50 times the west Germany total of 0–5 million.
§ Mr. Robert BanksTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many working days were lost through strikes in Yorkshire in each year since 1978.
