§ Mr. Robin SquireThe estimated total cost to date is £1.3 million, comprising:
The eventual cost of the current consultation on the revised curriculum proposals is estimated at about £2 million, which includes the cost of publishing and distributing the consultation documents and a report on the outcome of consultation.
- (i) £755k for the interim and final Dearing reports on the National Curriculum; and
- (ii) £528k for work on slimming down the curriculum by the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority (SCAA) and its advisory groups (excluding SCAA's internal staff costs).
