To ask the Secretary of State for Health what is the total number of junior doctors in each regional health authority in London; what is the number in each hospital; and what is the total number of hours covered by junior doctors in each regional health authority in London.

In September 1992, the number of whole-time equivalent junior doctors in the Thames regions was:

Information on the number in each hospital and complete information on the total number of contracted hours of junior doctors is not available.
