§ Sir Wyn Roberts[holding answer 9 May 1994]: The latest information on awards received under section 2 of the Education Act 1962 is for 1991–92. The table gives the number of students aged 19 and over who were on further education courses at colleges in Wales, by their county of usual residence, the number of people aged 19 and over receiving awards from each local authority and the difference between these numbers expressed as a percentage of student numbers. The number of students receiving awards includes some studying outside Wales and therefore not included in the student totals.
