§ Mr. AitkenThe Department intends to pursue vigorously market testing opportunities across the whole range of defence support activities with the aim of maximising value for money for the defence budget. The "Defence Costs Study" will, however, have a significant influence on the scale of the future programme and decisions on future plans will therefore be taken in the light of the outcome of the study.
