asked the Chairman of Committees:
Whether the Procedure Committee has now set up a sub-committee on the procedure to be followed in respect of orders under Clause 1 of the Deregulation and Contracting Out Bill; and when it is expected to report.

§ The Chairman of Committees (Lord Ampthill)
The Procedure Committee has set up a sub-committee on this question. Its membership is as follows:

Lord Aberdare (Chairman)

Lord Allen of Abbeydale

Lord Pym

Lord Stoddart of Swindon

Lord Wigoder.

The sub-committee hopes to report to the Procedure Committee by 19th May. Any Lord who wishes to submit evidence to the sub-committee should do so by 15th April.
