To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take action to prevent national health service trusts reducing the take-home pay of their work forces.

Trusts are free to negotiate terms and conditions with their employees. Take-home pay of the staff of an NHS trust is a matter between the staff concerned and the trust as an employer.
