To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the Government of Israel relating to the disarming of Jewish settlers in the occupied territories following the massacre at Hebron.

I wrote to the Israeli ambassador drawing his attention to the statement on 7 March by European Union Foreign Ministers which called for protection of Palestinians in the occupied territories.
