To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many cases the Inland Revenue adjudicator has dealt with since being established; and how many cases have been adjudicated in favour of the complainant.

Since the adjudicator took up appointment on 1 July 1993, she has completed 98 investigations. She has found wholly or partly in favour of the complainant in 63 cases.
