§ Mr. BaldryLocal planning authorities may serve a notice on the owners and occupiers of land under section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 if it appears to them that its condition is adversely affecting the amenity of their area.
Local authorities may also use their powers under part III of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to improve land if they judge it to constitute a statutory nuisance.
