§ Mr. Knapman
To ask the Secretary of state for National Heritage how many rules and regulations his Department has passed in each of the last three years.

§ Mr. Sproat
My Department was established in April 1992. Between then and the year end, it passed four regulations. In 1993, it passed 34 regulations and so far in 1994 it has passed six regulations.
