(3) what were the figures for egg consumption in (a) the United Kingdom and (b) England for each year since 1988.
§ Mr. JackEstimates of household consumption of eggs are provided by the Ministry's national food survey, which covers households in Great Britain, but not Northern Ireland. This survey provides estimates for each country within Great Britain and for each standard region within 903W England, but not for each county. The estimates, which are expressed in terms of average numbers of eggs per person per week, exclude eggs used in manufacturing or catering and institutions.
