No information on emergency response times in Lancashire is available prior to 1993–94. In the current financial year, up to February, on average 86 per cent. of 999 calls were answered within 10 seconds, although no specific figures are available for Colne. During the same period, the average time taken to arrive at the scene of an emergency incident in Colne was four minutes from receiving the call.
