To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list by year for the last 10 years and this year to date the number of cars damaged, the level of house burglary, theft from cars and burglary in the(a) Humberside, (b) North Yorkshire, (c) South Yorkshire and (d) West Yorkshire police areas.

Information for the last 10 years on offences of burglary and theft from cars is published annually in table 3.1 of "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales, Supplementary Tables, Volume 3", copies of which are available in the Library. Figures for the latest available period for the 12 months to June 1993 are given in the table. Information on the number of cars damaged is not collected centrally.
