§ Mr. BowdenTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will publish a table showing(a) the percentage increase in the state pension each year from 1970 to 1993, (b) whether the pension was uprated in line with earnings or the retail prices index in each year from 1970 to 1980 and (c) whether the percentage increase in the pension each April 1970 to 1993 was higher or lower than the year-on-year April to April retail prices index rise for the relevant year.
