§ Mr. HanleyPrivate Bradshaw, a regular soldier on the military basic parachute course, died on 13 June 1978 as a result of the injuries sustained in an accident at Weston-on-the-Green. Private Bradshaw's parachute pack made contact with the door post of the aircraft as he exited, causing him to become entangled in the parachute rigging line and the canopy only partially to open. Private Bradshaw did operate his reserve parachute, but too late to allow its full deployment.
