§ Mr. JackThe establishment of a marketing development scheme for fishery products similar to that already adopted under the Agriculture Act 1993 would not be in accordance with the EU rules on state aids in the fisheries sector. These rules are currently under review in Brussels, but it remains to be seen whether the Union will decide to change them in this respect.
