§ Mr. MacShaneTo ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he will take action to secure the withdrawal by the European Commission of subsidies being paid by the Italian Government to that country's steel industry.
§ Mr. SainsburyThe Government will continue to press the Commission to take firm action against any subsidies paid by the Italian Government to their steel industry which are not permissible under the European Coal and Steel Community treaty or the steel aids code.
