HC Deb 22 June 1994 vol 245 cc196-7W
Dr. Goodson-Wickes

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to her answer of 14 JuneOfficial Report, column 376, whether the payments to GPs for out-of-hours service are made from (a) family health services authorities cash-limited funds or (b) other funds; and in respect of what expenditure such payments are made.

Dr. Mawhinney

The "Statement of Fees and Allowances", copies of which are available in the Library, sets out the conditions for payments to be made to general practitioners from both cash-limited funds and other funds. Payments are made for a wide range of expenditure, including those associated with providing out-of-hours services.
