§ Mr. RaynsfordTo ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage for what purposes the British Broadcasting Corporation has been authorised to broadcast on the 198 KHz frequency; when this authorisation expires or comes up for renewal; and what undertakings or justification the BBC has given regarding its programming policy for broadcasts using this frequency.
§ Mr. BrookeIt is for the BBC to decide what programmes to broadcast on the frequencies made available to it for services in the United Kingdom, under its present royal charter and licence and agreement, which expire on 31 December 1996.
