To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what plans he has to develop business aviation at the Ministry of Defence airfield at Northolt; and if he will make a statement.

My Department and the Ministry of Defence will go out to consultation soon with industry on the way in which the private sector could be involved in making better use of the existing capacity for civil operations at RAF Northolt.
