asked Her Majesty's Government:

What active steps they are taking to assist Belize and Guatemala to reach agreement on their territorial dispute, and whether they will either offer to arbitrate or attempt to persuade the two parties to refer their case to the International Court at the Hague.

We will continue to encourage Belize and Guatemala to reach a settlement. It is primarily for them to agree how best to do so.
