To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many service personnel he expects to make redundant by the end of 1994.

Mr. Hanley

In the financial year 1994–5, 11,095 service personnel are due to leave on redundancy terms. Over 90 per cent. of these personnel are volunteers.
