What advice they have received from the Animal Procedures Committee in respect of Regulatory Toxicity, and what action they propose to take.
The Minister of State, Home Office (Earl Ferrers)My right honourable friend has received the Committee's report on this subject, which was based on the work of the sub-committee chaired by Dr. Onora O'Neill, Principal of Newham College, Cambridge. My right honourable friend is grateful to Dr. O'Neill and the other members of the sub-committee for the efforts they 23WA have put in to this difficult and important subject. The Home Office will be consulting with regulatory and other interested bodies about the Committee's recommendations. Copies of the report have been placed in the Library.
