To ask the Secretary of State for Education what percentage of primary school classes being taught by one teacher contain 20 or fewer pupils.

§ Mr. Robin Squire
In January 1993, the latest date for which information is available, 11 per cent. of primary school classes taught by one teacher had 20 or less pupils.
