To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many persons are taking actions for stress-related upper limb disorders against the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise.

Mr. Dorrell

There are at present 106 cases relating to repetitive strain injuries and/or upper limb disorders being pursued by current and former employees of the Inland Revenue, and 15 by Customs and Excise.
