§ Mr. Win Griffiths
To ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will publish the schemes he has approved for the local management of special schools submitted to him by local education authorities.

§ Mr. Forth
No. Section 42(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988 requires LEAs to publish their own LMS schemes. The manner in which they must do so is prescribed in the Education (Publication of Schemes for Financing Schools) Regulations 1993.
