§ Mr. SackvilleWhole-time equivalent nursing and midwifery staff in the community have increased by 14.8 per cent. between 1988 and 1992 and by 1.4 per cent. between 1991 and 1992. Responsibility for meeting targets set out in "The Health of the Nation" and the requirements of the Children Act 1989 are not the sole responsibility of health visitors although their contribution is valued.
§ Ms PrimaroloTo ask the Secretary of State for Health how many health visitors were employed in each district health authority area in September 1988, expressed as whole time equivalents.
