To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what discussions he has had with the Pools Promoters Association about widening the remit of the Football Trust to include other sports, with particular reference to rugby and cricket.

My officials held a meeting with representatives from the Pools Promoters Association on 22 June. Negotiations are at an early stage.
