§ Dr. MawhinneyEach year a Minister from the Department attends the world health assembly, the annual meeting of the World Health Organisation, at which the operations of the organisation are discussed. We also receive reports from the Chief Medical Officer on the meetings of the executive board of the World Health Organisation and the European Regional Committee meeting, and on all other major developments.
