§ Mr. NeedhamAs I said in my earlier statement, a number of representations have been received by my Department concerning export business entered into before the moratorium on export licenses was imposed on 17 December 1992. We have identified a second case concerning the completion of a contract for repair and overhaul in the United Kingdom of non-lethal aircraft components.
Given the circumstances, we have agreed to issue a licence for a small number of components to be returned to their owners in Iran unrepaired.
